《FreeFileSync》正體 / 繁體中文化
之前看到Joaoko介紹的檔案、資料夾同步的最佳免費軟體 – FreeFileSync(簡稱FFS)，實際試用下相當簡單好用，非常符合我的需求，畢竟限制少、操作容易的免費同步備份軟體實在不多(尤其是我想要的鏡像備份Mirror)。特別拜託Hugo已將繁體中文化檔案寄給原作者(因為我想丟給他來維護XD)，最近新版即將出爐，如果有任何翻譯錯誤的問題，歡迎留言告知。
未來如果更新版本，將以下檔案複製到新版本的資料夾，才能保留你原本所有的設定︰xxx.ffs_gui > 你自行另存的目錄同步專案檔。GlobalSettings.xml > 整體設定檔。LastRun.ffs_gui > 最近一次執行的同步設定檔。SyncSettings.ffs_gui > 同步選擇設定檔。
自行建立的批次檔，Windows 7工作排程不能像Windows XP工作排程直接執行該批次檔(無法執行)。Windows 7設定自動排程定時同步，請參考下圖，程式或指令碼填入FreeFileSync的執行檔，新增引數填入自行建立批次檔的絕對路徑(即使和執行檔放在同一個目錄，還是得填絕對路徑)，設定完成後按一下執行，測試能否正常執行同步處理。

2010/07/26：目前原作者如有新版本和更新字串，都會直接將檔案寄給各語系翻譯作者作更新和測試，翻譯完成後再寄回給他做整合。
2011/05/07：3.17版的語系檔開始改為xml格式，如下：

</header>昨晚發現無法切換繁體中文(仍然顯示簡體中文)的問題，作者已修正，這幾天應該就會釋出新版。
2012/03/22：今天收到5.1版，作者在信中有提到下個版本會做個「商業實驗」，未來可能會走向收費軟體(不一定是直接向使用者收費，也許是軟體內建廣告或廠商合作等方式)，但還在尋找適當的收費模式(前題是需維持Open Source並遵守GPL)，擷取其中一段信中原文︰
With the next release there won’t be bug fixes and new features only. I’ll also do a small “business experiment”. I think the old ways of selling general-purpose software, shareware or demo models, are becoming more and more obsolete with too good open source alternatives being available for free. So the question is if open source (in the non-consulting area) can be a business model, too. I don’t know, so I’d like to find out. Some advertizers offer small money for bundling partner installations. These may be annoying, as every type of advertizement, but they’d be purely optional and restricted to the installation phase only. I have no idea if this will kill my reputation forever, earn no relavant amounts of money or both. But as a real-life experiment it will be… exciting in any case. ;)
2013/03/25：太感動了，FreeFileSync 5.13突然出現Mac OS X 64bit版本，希望像Windows一樣好用(使用介面幾乎一樣)。
